Du'a of Prophet Nuh A.S — A Cry from the Ark

Du'a of Prophet Nuh A.S — A Cry from the Ark

In the face of despair, Prophet Nuh A.S turned to Allah with a heart full of pain, but lips full of tawakkul. His du’a wasn’t just for survival—it was for the salvation of faith itself.

Du'a (Qur'an 71:28):

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۖ

"My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women." (Surah Nuh 71:28)

This beautiful du’a teaches us the vastness of a prophet's mercy and concern—not just for himself, but for family, guests, and the entire ummah. When the world was drowning, Nuh A.S still prayed for forgiveness. In our storms, may we remember to do the same.

Let our du’as reflect concern beyond our own selves. Pray with mercy. Live with legacy.
