"Syafakallah & Syafakillah – A Du'a for Healing"

 

Arabic Phrase:

Syafakallah (شَفَاكَ اللهُ) – May Allah heal you (for male)

Syafakillah (شَفَاكِ اللهُ) – May Allah heal you (for female)

Reflection:

When someone is unwell, it’s beautiful and thoughtful to make du’a for their healing. As Muslims, our words carry blessings. A simple phrase like Syafakallah or Syafakillah can uplift hearts and remind them that Allah is the ultimate healer.

Full Du’a:

Syafakallah syifaan ‘ajilan la yughadiru ba’dahu saqama.

Translation: May Allah grant you a quick recovery and leave behind no illness.

(For female: Syafakillah syifaan ‘ajilan...)
