✨” with a heart-touching supplication from Prophet Yunus عليه السلام, famously known as Du'a of the Distressed — recited from the belly of the whale 🌊🐋 and loved by countless hearts across the world seeking hope and relief.
🌿 Du'a of Prophet Yunus عليه السلام
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
"Lā ilāha illā anta, subḥānaka innī kuntu minaz-ẓālimīn"
Translation:
"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
📖 Surah Al-Anbiya’ (21:87)
💭
This du’a is a treasure for all of us who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or burdened by our own mistakes. Just like Prophet Yunus عليه السلام found himself in complete darkness, we too sometimes feel spiritually “swallowed” by hardship or regret. But his words remind us: Hope is never lost when you turn to Allah.
Let this du’a be a reminder that even when you feel like you’ve reached the deepest ocean of despair, the light of tawbah (repentance) can pull you back into the warmth of Allah’s mercy. 🌅
🤲🏽 Let’s recite it today with sincerity:
Lā ilāha illā anta, subḥānaka innī kuntu minaz-ẓālimīn
And may Allah relieve us from every distress, shame, and burden, just like He saved His prophet.
🕊️
Carry this du’a in your heart, especially when you feel low.
Whisper it between breaths.
Because Allah is always near. 🌌
