Ever wished McD went halal AND more generous with flavor? We did it ourselves! This full-plate wonder features three flavor-packed tempura nuggets: 🔥Spicy Chicken, 🦐Prawn & Crab Stick, and 🧀Crispy Cheese Balls — all homemade, all halal, and all soul-satisfying. One plate, three cravings checked!
🔥 1. Spicy Chicken Tempura Nugget
Ingredients:
200g minced chicken
2 tbsp chili flakes
1 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp flour
1 egg
Tempura Batter:
½ cup cold water
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg yolk
Ice cubes (for chilling batter)
Instructions:
1. Mix all nugget ingredients and shape into bite-sized chunks. Freeze for 30 minutes.
2. Prepare batter just before frying — keep it cold.
3. Dip frozen nuggets into batter, fry until golden and crispy.
🦐 2. Prawn & Crab Stick Tempura Nugget
Ingredients:
100g peeled prawns (chopped)
100g crab sticks (shredded)
1 egg white
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp soy sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Tempura Batter: (same as above)
Instructions:
1. Mix filling and shape into flat discs or nugget shapes.
2. Chill for 15 minutes, dip in batter, and deep fry.
🧀 3. Crispy Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
100g mozzarella cheese (cubed or shredded)
2 tbsp flour
1 egg yolk
½ cup breadcrumbs
Tempura Batter:
Use same cold batter as above
Instructions:
1. Coat cheese cubes with flour, then egg yolk, then breadcrumbs.
2. Dip into cold tempura batter and deep fry until golden.
