Halal Cheese Burger Recipe (Budget-Friendly)

Ingredients:


-200g minced beef or chicken (halal)

-1/2 onion, finely chopped

-1 tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, minced

-1/2 tsp black pepper

-1/2 tsp salt

-1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

-1 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional for binding)

-1 slice of cheese per burger (cheddar or mozzarella)

-2 burger buns

-Butter or mayo for toasting buns

-Lettuce, tomato slices, or pickles (optional)



Simple Sauce (Optional):

Mix 1 tbsp mayo + 1 tsp ketchup + pinch of pepper




Instructions:


1. Make the Patties:

Mix minced meat, onion, garlic, spices, and breadcrumbs. Shape into 2 flat patties.


2. Cook:

Heat a pan, add oil, and cook patties 3–4 mins per side until browned and cooked through.


3. Melt Cheese:

Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking. Cover with lid to melt.


4. Toast Buns:

Lightly butter the buns and toast on the pan until golden.


5. Assemble:

Add sauce on buns, place patty, lettuce, tomato, and close the burger.
