Recipe Name: Nasi Goreng Sardin Pedas Manis (Sweet & Spicy Sardine Fried Rice)

 Ingredients (Budget-friendly & easy):


-1 bowl cooked white rice (preferably overnight)

-1 can sardines in tomato sauce

-1 egg

-2 cloves garlic (minced)

-1 red onion (sliced)

-1 tbsp chili sauce

-1 tsp soy sauce

-Salt & sugar to taste

-1 tbsp oil


Optional: chopped spring onions, cili padi (if you want it spicier)


Steps:


1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onions until fragrant.

2. Add the sardines along with their sauce. Break the sardines into chunks.

3. Add chili sauce, soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well.

4. Push the mixture aside, crack in the egg and scramble it.

5. Add rice and mix everything evenly.

6. Stir-fry until rice is hot and slightly crisp. Serve with sliced cucumber or fried egg on top.
