Ingredients:
-2 medium potatoes
-1/2 cup macaroni
-1 tbsp butter or margarine
-1 tbsp flour
-1/2 cup milk
-1 slice or 2 tbsp shredded cheese
-1 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
-Salt & pepper
-1 tsp oil (for baking or frying)
Instructions:
1. Make the Wedges:
Wash and cut potatoes into wedges.
Toss with a little oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Bake at 200°C for 20–25 mins or pan-fry until golden and crispy.
2. Boil the Macaroni:
Boil macaroni until soft, then drain.
3. Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a pan, melt butter. Add flour and stir for 1 min.
Slowly pour in milk, stirring until smooth.
Add cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until melted.
4. Combine:
Mix macaroni with cheese sauce. Place cheesy wedges on top or mix everything together.
Optional:
sprinkle extra cheese and toast under a grill for 3–5 mins for a crispy top.
