Du'a to Start Our Job or Business
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka khayra hadhal-‘amali, wa khayra ma fihi, wa khayra ma ursila bihi, wa a’udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma fihi wa sharri ma ursila bihi.
Meaning:
“O Allah, I ask You for the good of this work (or business), the good that is in it, and the good for which it was sent; and I seek refuge with You from its evil, the evil that is in it, and the evil for which it was sent.”
Starting a job or business isn’t just about money—it’s an ibadah, a trust, a means to serve our family and ummah. When we begin with du'a, we invite Allah’s blessings to flow through every effort and transaction.
May your journey in work or business be guided by tawakkul, driven by ikhlas, and showered with barakah. Keep your heart grounded, your intentions sincere, and your du’a constant.
