Du'a of Devotion / Talbiah: Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk

Morning dearest brother's and sister's, and what a beautiful intention to begin this blessed day. The talbiyah — “Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk” — is a powerful and heartfelt declaration of servitude and love for Allah, often recited during Hajj and Umrah, but it resonates deeply in the hearts of all believers yearning to respond to Allah’s call.

Du'a of Devotion: Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk

“Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka Laa Shareeka Laka Labbayk. Innal Hamda Wan-Ni’mata Laka Wal-Mulk, Laa Shareeka Lak.”

Translation:

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily, all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty. You have no partner.

This powerful talbiyah, "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk" — Here I am, O Allah, here I am — is more than a call for Hajj. It is a lifetime declaration of servitude, love, and obedience. Even if we’re not standing on the plains of Arafah, our hearts can still echo this call wherever we are. Let this du’a inspire us to respond to Allah’s call in our everyday lives—with sincerity, humility, and longing to draw closer to Him.

May our hearts never tire of saying "Labbayk," in every moment, through every struggle, and with every breath. Ameen.
